The 4 Days Uganda Gorilla and Chimpanzee Safari combines two unforgettable primate experiences with the beautiful landscapes of southwestern Uganda. Begin your journey in Kigali before crossing into Uganda and heading toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Here, enjoy an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience before continuing to the misty forests of Bwindi. The highlight of the journey is a thrilling gorilla trek, where you can encounter mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. With scenic drives, fascinating primates, and warm local hospitality, this short safari offers an exciting introduction to Uganda’s remarkable wildlife.

Day 01 :

Pick Up from Kigali and Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

On this day, our driver-guide will collect you from your hotel in Kigali and take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will be picked up from your hotel to begin the 6-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth NP.

You will travel through the stunning landscapes and hills of Rwanda before crossing the Katuna border.

A stop at the border will be necessary for immigration. After crossing the border, you will have a lunch break and continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You'll arrive in the evening, check in, and relax as you prepare for the chimp trekking adventure the following day.

Day 02 :

Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Bwindi

On this day, you will start with an early breakfast, pack your bags, and head to the briefing point for an overview on chimpanzee tracking.

After the briefing, you will be divided into small groups and assigned a guide who will lead you to and from the forest.

You will begin your search for chimpanzees in the forest, and once you find them, you will spend an hour with them.

Following this activity, you will have lunch and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Begin your day with a briefing on the dos and don’ts of mountain gorilla tracking.

Afterward, join a small group of up to eight people for this unforgettable adventure.

Next, meet your ranger guide, who will lead your group into the forest and back.

As you trek through Bwindi’s lush vegetation, enjoy the excitement of searching for mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.

Please note that the trek may take a short, moderate, or long time, depending on the gorillas’ location.

Once you find the gorillas, spend a magical moment observing their behaviour and capturing memorable photographs.

Finally, return to the lodge for a relaxing evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Day 4: Transfer back to Kigali

You will have a morning breakfast and drive back to Kigali through the Katuna border for drop-off.
