4-Day Uganda Gorilla and Chimpanzee Safari

On this day, our driver-guide will collect you from your hotel in Kigali and take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will be picked up from your hotel to begin the 6-hour journey to Queen Elizabeth NP.

You will travel through the stunning landscapes and hills of Rwanda before crossing the Katuna border.

A stop at the border will be necessary for immigration. After crossing the border, you will have a lunch break and continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

You'll arrive in the evening, check in, and relax as you prepare for the chimp trekking adventure the following day.

On this day, you will start with an early breakfast, pack your bags, and head to the briefing point for an overview on chimpanzee tracking.

After the briefing, you will be divided into small groups and assigned a guide who will lead you to and from the forest.

You will begin your search for chimpanzees in the forest, and once you find them, you will spend an hour with them.

Following this activity, you will have lunch and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for dinner and an overnight stay.

This briefing will cover the dos and don'ts regarding mountain gorillas. After that, you will be divided into small groups of 8 people each. A ranger guide will be assigned to you, who will accompany you to and from the forest.

Please be aware that the trek can be short, medium, or long. After tracking the gorillas, you will return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

You will have a morning breakfast and drive back to Kigali through the Katuna border for drop-off.
