In Bwindi, one of the world’s top gorilla trekking destinations. Trek through the misty rainforest and enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to encounter the endangered Mountain Gorillas in their natural habitat. Home to over 550 gorillas, more than 18 habituated families, diverse primates and rich birdlife. Your adventure begins when you arrive at Kigali International Airport, where our professional guide welcomes you. After meeting your guide, transfer to your hotel and settle into your comfortable accommodation. Later, enjoy a delicious meal as you relax and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Meanwhile, take time to rest after your journey and enjoy Kigali's welcoming atmosphere. Your guide remains available to assist you with anything you may need. Finally, enjoy dinner and spend the night at your hotel.

After breakfast, begin your day with a guided tour of Kigali and its remarkable cultural sites. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and learn about Rwanda's history, resilience, and journey towards reconciliation. Afterwards, continue your journey through Rwanda's beautiful countryside towards the Ugandan border.
As you travel, admire rolling hills, green valleys, local villages, and peaceful countryside views. Then, cross the Katuna One-Stop Border and continue into southwestern Uganda. Finally, reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and settle into your lodge among the rainforest hills.

GORILLA TREKKING
Today brings one of the most anticipated moments of your safari, the Mountain Gorilla trekking experience. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing. Then, enter the ancient rainforest with experienced trackers and professional guides.
The trek can take several hours, depending on where your assigned gorilla family moves. However, the forest scenery, birdlife, and surrounding wilderness make every step worthwhile. Once you find the gorillas, spend one unforgettable hour observing their natural behaviour.
Watch them feed, play, groom, and interact within their forest home. Meanwhile, your experienced guides help you understand their behaviour and protect the encounter. After this remarkable experience, return to your lodge for dinner and a well-earned rest.

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kigali through the scenic landscapes of southwestern Rwanda. Upon arrival in Kigali, proceed to the airport for your flight to Nairobi, Kenya. This transition introduces the next exciting chapter of your East African safari.
Once you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your representative and transfer to your hotel. Afterwards, take time to relax and prepare for your upcoming Masai Mara adventure. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Nairobi before continuing your journey.

After breakfast, leave Nairobi and begin your scenic journey towards the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, watch the landscape change from busy urban areas to open countryside. Gradually, the beautiful Kenyan scenery prepares you for the wilderness awaiting in the Mara.
Upon arrival, settle into the reserve and enjoy lunch at your lodge or camp. Afterwards, head out for your first afternoon game drive across the vast savannah plains. Keep your camera ready for lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes.

Beyond the Big Five, watch for wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and other animals across the open plains. The Mara also supports an impressive variety of birdlife, creating excellent opportunities for birdwatching. Therefore, keep your binoculars ready as your guide explores different areas of the reserve.
Return to camp for lunch and some time to relax during the afternoon heat. Later, continue with another game drive and explore more of the Mara's remarkable wilderness. As evening approaches, return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful night beneath the African sky.

GAME DRIVES AND OPTIONAL MAASAI CULTURAL VISIT

Afterwards, return to your accommodation for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, choose an additional game drive or enjoy an optional Maasai cultural visit. During the cultural experience, meet community members, enjoy traditional dances, and learn about Maasai traditions.
